Bridals and Groomals August 4th 2012

On Saturday August 4th I got up at 4am and went to my hairstylists house to get my hair done. She was so nice and did my hair in her master bathroom with her husband still sleeping in the bed! She didn't even charge me, thanks Jenn. After getting my makeup done I met Bryan at my house and we met our photographers up at Silver Fork Lodge to take our bridals/groomals (Groomals are like bridals but with the groom)
After I changed into my dress, we did a "first look" photo to see Bryans reaction the first time he saw me.
Then we took some basic pre wedding photos. Including your basic American Gothic shovel photo. Make sure you look for the tractor that tried to interrupt our photo shoot.

Flowers for Bridals

On August 3, 2012 I drove ALL over Salt Lake trying to find the perfect flowers. I went to all the swanky flower shops downtown and to the huge flower markets looking for the perfect hot pinks and white and yellow flowers for my Bridal bouquet. Low and behold where did I find the perfect flowers? Smiths and Costco... Shoulda just gone there first. I spent that afternoon creating my bouquet for our Bridal photo session at Silver Fork Lodge. I really loved how it turned out and I also loved all the extra flowers that were left over!

Licence to Marry

On August 2, 2012 Bryan and I went to the county office and registered for our marriage license! Yay!!

Malik July 31st

On July 31st, 2012 Bryan and I went to see a local band perform in Murray. Their name was Malik and we really enjoyed their music. They have since split up but we still have t-shirts...

Our new Home!

These are pics of the day we got the keys, July 20th, the day we painted, July 21st, and the day we moved, July 24th!! We moved in right next to an Apollo Burger...a blessing and a curse... Bryan and I decided to paint the walls a bright aqua blue-turqoise color and our bedroom was supposed to be a deep seductive purple color but turned out more Barney-purple, oops. We have since repainted the

Barney wall to be more seductive purple and less dinosaur purple.
Scott, Derek, and Byran Robertson all came to help us (or more honestly, ME move in...Bryan didn't have much to contribute in the furniture department which was ok because I had everything!). Our new condo was on the third floor and we vowed we would never move again after that day. The last photo is Bryan's mustache for the mustache competition at Sprinkler Supply. He didn't win but it was a worthy effort...

My favorite thing about our home are the huge windows with deep white tiled windowsills that line the front room. They give our home so much natural light and make it light and bright and fun. My next favorite thing is the storage. We have a front closet, a linen closet, a utility closet, AND a whole EXTRA bedroom/office/walk-in-closet (ie junk room). Our landlord is Kreg Delaney and he is so easy going. We pay our rent and power and internet bills and he pays our HOA witch includes water, gas, sewer, and trash. We don't have a washer/dryer but there is one in the basement of the building that we use for $1 a load. So far we love our first little home.

Randoms of June and July

These are some random photos of the summer of our engagement. The first two are of Bryan eating his birthday cakes. One from me and one from Becky.  We went to Tucanos for his birthday dinner and my favorite line of the night went to Byran for saying about his purple shirt "Slim fit was a bad choice" (Tucanos is an all you can eat Brazilian buffet.)
Mom came up to visit and helped us pick out Bryans wedding shoes at Nordys.  The next photo is at MY favorite burger place In N Out. And then our matching neon vans that we would later decide to change into as we left our wedding reception. The next photo is the morning we went up to Silver Fork Lodge to have breakfast and pay our deposit for our wedding reception! The next photo is at Pottery Barn and I just think Byran looks good. The last photo is Bryan Luke Bond at Target working on our registry.

Triathlon July 14th, 2012

Tyler and Ashley Standifird invited me to be a part of their relay team to run the Echo Reservoir triathlon. I swam 1500 meters, Tyler biked 40 kilometers and Ashley ran a 10k. Ashley's siblings were on another relay team and all we wanted to do was beat them... We did it!  In fact, we got first place out of all the relay teams! ( I won't mention there were only 2....) They even gave us medals! Bryan was an excellent cheerleader for team StandiRandall!

Camping July 6th 2012

A few of Bryan's friends invited us to a campout up past Kamas. We ate hot dogs and Bryan made his delicious cobbler! The next day we drove through Kamas on the way home and had pizza at Summit Inn where Bryan worked while he was in high school.
